Option consommateurs accuses these companies of conspiring to raise the price of roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) shipping services, including new motor vehicles and farm machinery.
The class action seeks reimbursement of the revenues generated by the artificially inflated portion of the price of Ro-Ro shipping services in Canada.

Wilhelmsen Holding ASA, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Americas, LLC, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics AS, Wallenius Lines AB, Nissan Motor Car Carrier Co., Ltd., World Logistics Service (USA) Inc., Höegh Autoliners AS and Höegh Autoliners, Inc.
Who are the members ?
You are a member of the class action if you have purchased, in Quebec, marine transportation services by roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessel or purchased or leased, in Quebec, a new motor vehicle, new farm machinery or new construction equipment that was transported by roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessel between February 1, 1997 and December 31, 2012.
Where are we now ?
The Superior Court authorized this class action on April 1, 2019.
