Option consommateurs vs. Home Depot
Option consommateurs accuses Home Depot of breaching its legal obligations by sharing personal information with Facebook without the consent of the members of the proposed group, and of violating their fundamental right to privacy.
Who are the members?
You may be affected by this class action if you purchased a good or service at a Home Depot store in Quebec and provided your e-mail address in order to receive a transaction receipt by e-mail.
Where are we now?
On January 27, 2023, an application for authorization to institute a class action was filed with the Superior Court of Quebec.
The class action is currently at the authorization stage.
