Acrylonitrile butadiene

In October 2004, we filed a class-action lawsuit against companies that conspired to illegally raise the price of acrylonitrile butadiene (found in rubber hoses, belts, cables, sealants, etc.). Bayer and Zeon Chemicals are among those implicated. The alleged offences, which took place between May and December 2002, contravene the Competition Act and have led Quebec consumers to overpay by thousands of dollars. The class action is designed to compensate them.

Our members

You're one of them if you've bought acrylonitrile butadiene or products made with acrylonitrile butadiene in Quebec and paid too high a price because of the conspiracy.

Where we are

We have withdrawn this appeal.
