Short-term vehicle rental for young drivers (16 to 24 years old)

An application for authorization to exercise a class action was filed last Friday at the Montreal courthouse, denouncing discriminatory practices against drivers aged 16 to 24.

Some short-term vehicle leasing companies use three different methods: charging additional fees, refusing to lease certain vehicle models, and refusing to lease any vehicle model at all.
