New preventive measures in connection with COVID-19

Option consommateurs has taken new measures to continue offering its services while complying with government recommendations to limit the spread of COVID-19 and thus ensure the health and safety of its users and employees.

Starting today :

• TheOption consommateurs offices, located at the Maison du développement durable, are closed to the public. It is therefore no longer possible to receive consumers for consultations. Employees are also all working from home until further notice.

• We continue to answer questions from customers who leave messages on our voicemail or in our e-mail inbox.

• Budget consultations and meetings with seniors are now conducted by telephone only. If the file requires a face-to-face meeting, it will be rescheduled at a later date.

• The information sessions scheduled to be held in organizations over the next two weeks have been postponed. The situation will be re-evaluated regularly in the light of government recommendations.

Option consommateurs also invites all consumers to think of the elderly and more vulnerable people around them who are asked to stay at home. Don't hesitate to call and talk to them, to ensure that isolated people don't feel alone. If they need food or medication, offer to go shopping, leaving groceries on the balcony to avoid contact.
