Class actions

What is a class action ?

A class action is a procedure enabling a single person to represent a group with the same problem. A single favorable settlement or judgment can compensate, individually or collectively, thousands of people who would not otherwise have obtained justice.

Royal Bank computer failure in 2004

Description In June 2004, we filed a class action against the Royal Bank. In early June 2004, the financial institution experienced computer problems that prevented certain transactions (payroll deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.) from being recorded in customers' accounts.
